Mary Hurley brings CGIA Outreach to Regional Meetings
Mary Hurley, CGIA Chair, has been actively working to directly communicate with regional groups. On October 15, she participated in the Southern California URISA meeting. On November 15th, she made a presentation with Malcolm Adkins of Michael Baker, Inc on the recently completed California Geospatial Framework Data Draft Plan. On November 17th, she did outreach for CGIA at the CIRGIS GIS Day. Send her an email ( ) if your regional group would like to host a CGIA Board member to talk about the California Geospatial Framework Data Draft Plan or other items that you would like more information about.

Last CGIA Membership Drive Request
We would like you to consider joining. If you have not already done so, please submit your membership dues for 2006-07. There are three levels of membership: student ($20), regular ($40), and sustaining ($200). Currently we have nearly 600 individuals who have "joined CGIA" to receive news and information; yet our dues paying membership is less than 20% of this number. We need your financial support. If you have not joined CGIA but have been considering it, join now. CGIA would love to receive your "holiday membership gift." This will be our last membership drive request for 2006-07.
