CalGIS 2008, Modesto, CA
CGIA will be a bronze sponsor at the CalGIS 2008 Conference. CGIA will hold its annual Board meeting as a pre-conference event on Tuesday, April 22, 2008 at 3 pm.

CGIA will partner with Baker Inc. to make a presentation on the finding, conclusions, and recommendations associated with the regional collaboratives' strategic planning effort. CGIA will partner with GeoSpatial Solutions Consulting to make a presentation on the results of the Imagery Business Planning and Best Practices Project.

GIO White Paper Initiative
The CGIA Board, along with members of the California GIS Council, is currently developing a White Paper proposing the roles and responsibilities for a State GIS position and support office. We expect to have the paper in circulation within the next two months; a discussion by the California GIS Council will be held in the near future.
