Kern
Council of Governments is now accepting nominations for its 17th
annual Regional Awards of Merit program, which celebrates
achievements over the past year that have improved the quality
of life in Kern County.
The Regional Awards honor those individuals and programs whose
contributions to public service provide a model framework for
others to follow. The Nomination

instructions for completing a winning nomination.
Nominations should be no more than two pages long, and should
include at least 10 still images delivered electronically by email,

to supply any other supporting documentation you believe will
help a subcommittee of Kern COG's Board of Directors make its
decisions. The deadline for entries is 5 p.m. December 7, 2007.
Please do not hesitate to contact Robert Phipps with your nominations
or any questions or concerns about the program. His email address
