Imagery
Business Plan & Best Practices Project
CGIA is partnering with the US Geological Survey, the California
Resources Agency, and the California GIS Council to develop a
California Digital Imagery Data Business Plan and Best Practices
Report. To accomplish this, CGIA has selected Geospatial Consulting
with Westlake GIS to inventory major imagery projects and prepare
a report on lessons learned from a selected sample of existing
digital imagery projects. This report will guide regional and
other multi-participant digital imagery projects in identifying
options for cooperatively acquiring and procuring digital imagery
data. The final report will be published on the CGIA and State
GIS Council's websites by June 2008.
