  • Advanced display, classify and symbolize data.

  • Conduct surface analysis using Spatial Analyst extension.

The USGS, in cooperation with CalTrans, University of Redlands, and the San Diego Regional GIS Council, has scheduled 4 training sessions for the National Hydrography Dataset in southern CA. Training dates and locations are as follows:

  • Monday, January 29, 2007, 8-5, San Diego CalTrans District 11 training facility, computer-based technical NHD workshop (12 terminals, 24 students maximum)
  • Tuesday, January 30, 2007, 8-5, San Diego CalTrans District 11 training facility, computer-based technical NHD workshop (12 terminals, 24 students maximum)
  • Wednesday, January 31, 2007, 1-4:00, Redlands Institute, Redlands, non-technical, non-computer managers overview of the NHD (30 maximum)
  • Thursday, February 1, 2007, 8-5, Redlands Institute, Redlands, computer-based technical NHD workshop (22 terminals, 22 maximum)
